When it comes to portable tents, we know that Tentipi offers the most versatile tent on the market. Our Nordic tipis withstand the toughest weather conditions and cope extremely well in any season and climate thanks to their shape and the unique possibility of having a fire inside the tent.
The fire and the association with our nomadic ancestors give people the opportunity to come in contact with their deepest roots, something that can bring calmness and satisfaction to our stressful and often shallow lives. We believe that more and more people are going to discover this type of tent and the lifestyle it encompasses. As one of our users wrote: “Think I’ve Found My Spiritual Home”.
When it comes to our larger tents, i.e. the Classic and Event Nordic tipis, we are also optimistic about the future. These tents are used all over the world, whenever innovative event organizers, enterprising organizations and creative private individuals want to create something different. Several new markets within the English-speaking world are opening up and our belief and hope is that our event Nordic tipis will be at least as popular there as they are here in Europe.
Through our products, we endeavour to pass on the inheritance from our nomadic ancestors to the future and out into the world. Our ambition is that we go about this in a responsible manner that is considerate to both humans and the environment. As well as being a supportive company to an SOS Children’s Village in China, we also support the important work done by the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation to achieve sustainable development, a better climate and healthier nature. As regards our own production, we have focused on manufacturing tents with a long lifetime which reduces the use of energy and raw materials. For instance, we recycle, we use organic, eco-labelled and Fair Trade labelled products, encompassing anything from the seamstresses’ hand-cream to the coffee and bananas we use for our coffee breaks, and we are finding out more about alternative tent materials which have less impact on nature.
Tentipi’s ambition is also to continue to be a world-leading producer of Nordic tipis through our high quality, ingenious design features, broad range of products, and last but not least, our strong commitment to you, the user of our products.
